I am a Writer, Poet and Creative Projects and Writing Workshop Facilitator living in the foothills of Sliabh na mBan in County Tipperary. Inspired by human interactions and the natural world around me, I enjoy combining my love of writing and poetry with my work. I have been working in the Literary Arts space since 2019.
As the inaugural Poet in Residence for the South Tipperary Arts Centre, Clonmel, I facilitate 'Word Sparks', a perennial series of free-flow writing sessions designed to engage writers with diverse and thought-provoking works of art to spark writing ideas.
I also facilitate group writing workshops both online and in-person. My workshops are carefully curated to provide participants with a supportive, non-hierarchical space to enjoy writing and sharing their responses to varied prompts.
In November 2025, I completed my Facilitator Training to become an AWA Certified Affiliate deepening my understanding of the AWA method and my ability to facilitate in a supportive and inclusive manner.
In 2024, I undertook a writing residency at Greywood Arts, Killeagh, Co Cork and completed the 'Writing Poetry' online course with the Dept for Continuing Education, University of Oxford.
I have collaborated creatively with the Clonmel Junction Arts Festival, the Tudor Artisan Hub, Clonmel Applefest, South Tipperary Action Network and Suaimhneas sna Coillte as well as the Tipperary Bealtaine Festival delivering a range of group engagement projects. These have resulted in poetry galleries, trails, installations, spoken word events and the curation of poetry booklets.
In 2026, I co-authored and published the collaborative collection 'The Wild Scribes: Poetry, Insights, Encouragement' through Revival Press, Limerick. My debut poetry collection 'a life to be lived' was published in 2023.
